I love how these photographs are so dynamical and strong, yet so soft - it truly makes me smile! They have a certain ‘underwater-energy’ about them which I am really fond of.

Clean-Cut and Drapery
Posted in Collections, tagged Givenchy, S/S 10 on January 7, 2010 | 1 Comment »
I found Givenchy’s S/S-10 collection a tiny bit confusing. Clean-cut and drapery? (I just realised I haven’t accutally included a picture of one of their full drapery dresses – I might post one later today if I remember).
Although I don’t love this slightly confusing combination (though I DO love the hats!), I don’t hate it [...]
Doing That Tennis Thing

I just realised that Hermes was the name of an ancient Greek god (YES – I am revising for my History of Art test on Greek architecture).
Hermes was the messenger of the gods - sending - sending (serving, whatever) tennis balls (I know. I am extending this way to far now. Just trying to adapt some good old history [...]
Walking Down Memory Lane with Giles

I am absolutely head over heels with Giles’ S/S 10 collection, shown in Paris. It’s young, fresh and innovative. Like a fresh breath of spearmint chewing gum – my favourite.
Giles takes his costumers down memory lane this season, offering pieces you’d wear under the age of ten (with a twist. Obviosly). The sunglasses, the [...]
A Flesh Coloured Bodysuit, Anyone?
Posted in Collections, tagged Antonio Beradi, S/S 10 on October 18, 2009 | Leave a Comment »
This look from Antonio Beradi’s SS 10 show is definitely something worth trying out once the temperature allows it again. As you are most likely to already have a black skirt, a sheer, oversized top and a pair of scissors (to make the top low-cut), the only thing you’ll only need to pull this look off is a flesh coloured [...]
Marc Jacob’s Afro – Louis Vuitton S/S 2010

I loved the giant afro wigs at Louis Vuitton S/S 10 show last week, quite liked the shoes above, but I was not too keen on the collection in general. It might grow on me.
Did you like what Marc Jacobs came up with this time?

OSMAN S/S 2010

I am back! A month of the ”I’ve just started a new school”-phase is now officially over.
During Fashion Week in London, one of the shows I went to was the OSMAN show. It was brilliant, I’ve got to say. The entire collection was white. White dresses, shirts, pants, skirts and tailored jackets with a few attributes of gold, which [...]

The Swedes know to make the most wearable and stylish clothes - Whyred, ACNE, H&M, Minimarket and Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair are all among my favourites when it comes to the more commercial side of fashion.
After recently having discovered Lina Osterman’s A/W 09 collection, I must say that she thrones pretty high up on my list of [...]
